We love to see the runway shows and the new trends, connecting fashion with what’s gong on in the world. But our personal styling clients like to get inspiration to get dressed with what they already have in their wardrobe. So here are 8 ideas of Fall looks with clothes you already have.
A classic crewneck sweater is a good piece to have, good to go with denim or a nice skirt to a party. A way to style it in a current way is layering over another shirt and pulling the sleeves.
If you have white booties, mules or sneakers, not only they make a black outfit fashionable, but also they are very versatile. Another tip is, when wearing a dress and a oversized jacket in the same color, it is easy to get the proportions right even if you are not tall.
A light midi length summer dress looks so good with a similar color cardigan and colorful boots and bag.
I always say that Fall is the best time of the year to get dressed! Its all about layers. Different colors and textures make it interesting and open buttons elongate the figure.
Pure white, off white or ecru look beautiful for chilly days, just avoid if it is going to rain. Choose shoes in earthy tone and interesting heels. If it gets cooler, just add a turtleneck under the shirt, it would look very current with these sleeves. And this photo is not new!
Oversized sweaters look good with midi length skirts, very modern. Later on, try with heavier suede sandals, and then with boots.
A summer floral long dress looks perfect during Fall with a sweater and boots. They don’t need to be western style boots, any pair you have will do. So cool.
I personally like the idea of wearing a skirt over leggings and sandals. Or pumps. Just try it, if it is not your style, change to boots. The “bib neck” is a great extra layer when gets cold.
And you, do you like getting dressed in the Fall?
